School Receptionist/Finance & Admin Assistant

The School Receptionist is the first point of call for visitors to the school, parents, staff and pupils. As the ‘face’ of the school, the receptionist should be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the school in a professional and friendly manner. In addition, it is essential that the person for this role is organised, able to multitask, work flexibly and have a ‘can-do’ approach to work, as no two days are the same.

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, term time plus INSET plus 10 days in the school holidays.

Salary £20,319, FTE £25,760

Sixth Form minibus driver

A driver is a school ambassador and this role is responsible for the transport of our sixth form pupils to and from our partner college in Bexhill.

A clean D1 licence is essential.  Midas training and uniform provided.

Monday to Thursdays, 7.45am to 5.30pm, Fridays 7.45am to 4pm with a 60-minute unpaid break, term time plus INSET.

Salary £22,031, FTE £29,660

Morning Cleaners

Two cleaners required to join our happy, hard-working housekeeping teams.  We are part of the Continous Award Programme for Housekeeping and aiming for Gold.  General school cleaning.

H&S training and uniform provided.

Monday to Fridays 7am to 9am, term time only plus Inset.

Salary £5,325, FTE £7,020

Invigilators

We have vacancies to work with our Exams team starting 12 May until 18th June 2025.

Rate of pay £12.21 per hour and generally 2-3 mornings a week for a few hours

Volunteer Staff

Please contact us if you are interested in helping either in class, with lunchtime supervision, or with special events. We also welcome conservation and gardening volunteers prepared to help us preserve and develop our outstanding historic buildings, gardens and grounds.
