Staff and students at Frewen College were delighted to learn that the school has been highly commended for a new award: the Independent Schools Association SEND School of the Year 2023.

Principal Nick Goodman said "It is good to see the school recognised in this way at a national level. We have a highly dedicated specialist staff, and students who want to learn, and who, with the right support, achieve amazing progress. I often tell students that the school is not me, or the teachers, or even the whole staff, but all of us. There is no doubt that they have also played a role in helping us to achieve this award, and we will ensure that they are congratulated and share in the celebration!"

This is the latest in a string of awards that the school has won, or in which they have been finalists, in recent years. In 2021, Frewen won the Outstanding Provision for Learning Support and were finalists in Senior School of the Year; in 2022 the school was a finalist in Junior School of the Year.
